Senior Center to host holiday events

Team Radio Marketing Group - December 4, 2017 10:55 am

Special holiday activities are planned for the Ponca City Park and Recreation Senior Center during December.

At 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, the Senior Center will host live music featuring Larry Lenhart and Crew. The band plans to play a variety of music designed for those who love to dance. Everyone is invited to wear their favorite “Ugly Christmas Sweater” and enter the sweater contest. Please bring a snack item to share. There is no fee for the dance; it’s just an opportunity to enjoy an evening of music at the beautiful Ponca City Senior Center.

At 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, the Senior Center will host the annual Christmas Program and Open House. This year’s program, “Christmas Memories,” will feature stories from Ponca City residents about their childhood memories of this festive season. Stories are blended with songs and dance from the Forever Young Choir and Center Line Dancers. A meal will be provided and reservations are required.

For more information, please contact the Ponca City Senior Center at 767-0430.
