Kay Electric Cooperative’s been made aware of a scam where some of their members receive a phone call from someone saying they are from the billing department and your electric will be disconnected in the next few minutes if it is not paid.
Please be aware that KEC will not do this. If you receive a phone call like this, or you are questioning the legitimacy of the phone call, please hang up and call the Kay Electric office at 800-535-1079.
