Anna Lee Brown
August 13, 1930 – November 6, 2017
Anna Lee Brown passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 87 years old. Anna was born on August 13, 1930 in Forgan, Oklahoma to her parents, George Walter Crosby and Edna Belle (Montgomery) Crosby. She grew up and graduated from high school in Forgan and shortly after married Alonzo Brown in June of 1947. After living in Washington, the couple moved to Ponca City in the late 1990s. Anna retired as a machinist working for Boeing Aircraft.
Anna enjoyed ceramics and gardening and truly loved taking care of her cats. She was a faithful member of Bible Methodist Church in Ponca City.
Anna will be missed by her children, Alonzo Lee Brown and wife Donna, Bruce Brown, Deanna Hefner, Brenda Diehl, Rebecca Ecklund, sister, Claudette Caffey, brother, Calvin Crosby, 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Brown and her parents.
A memorial ceremony for Anna will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Bible Methodist Church, 410 Fairview Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601 with Pastor Ron McCormic presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bible Methodist Church, 410 Fairview Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.
Anna and her family are being cared for by Trout Funeral Home & Crematory of Ponca City.
