Pioneer Technology receives national certification

Pioneer Technology Center has received national certification for the Project Lead The Way program that it has been offering since 2007. PLTW is a nonprofit organization that provides a transformative learning experience for K-12 students and teachers. PLTW Biomedical Sciences empowers students to step into any role in the biomedical field, adopt a problem-solving mindset and make the leap from dreamers to doers.
In addition to K-12 curricular pathways, PLTW provides teachers with high-quality professional development training that gives them the support and resources they need to devote more time to inspiring students.
The national PLTW recognition distinguishes schools for successfully demonstrating a commitment to PLTW’s national standards.
Project Lead The Way is a nonprofit organization that provides a transformative learning experience for K-12 students and teachers across the U.S. PLTW empowers students to develop in-demand, transportable knowledge and skills through pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science.
