The Ponca City Library will be changing to a new software and public catalog interface next week.
Beginning Friday, July 9 there will be an interruption of downloading electronic resources and placing holds from home.
From Friday through Wednesday, the library will be handling checkouts and checking in books in the time honored low tech way.
The Library will be closed on Tuesday, July 13 for all staff training. They are excited for a new look for their catalog and some interesting additions to enhance their customers’ library service. The go live date will be Thursday, July 14.
Although the library will be open , they suggest stocking up on plenty of materials and downloads from the Oklahoma Virtual Library to keep you informed and entertained during this brief transition period.
