Tuesday we will have the opportunity to vote on the extension of the Ponca City Development Authority sales tax.

The Chamber Board of Directors voted unanimously to recommend a yes vote for the tax. Since 2013, there have been 1,016 total jobs developed for Ponca City. This is a $157,450,305 economic impact for Ponca City.

Since the conception of PCDA in 1994, there have been a total of 5,123 jobs developed. Average wages paid in 1994 was $10.71; today it is $18.20. Please vote yes Tuesday. For a fact sheet with all the accomplishments of PCDA, you can come by the Chamber Office at Fifth Street and Grand Avenue.

The 32nd Ponca City Leadership class will have a session on Civic and Human Resources Wednesday. Melissa Young with United Way of Ponca City is the day chair. This is a great day showcasing our not-for-profit organizations doing amazing work for Ponca City and our region.
