Shelley Sue Day

July 7, 1954 – September 25, 2017

Shelley Sue Day, resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Integris Baptist Medical Center. She was 63.

The celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Perry Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. The care of the family is under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry.

Shelley was born on July 7, 1954 to Rodney and Bettey (Renfro) Day in Tulsa, OK, where she lived out her life. Her life was mostly enjoyed by working with Standard Industries testing the asphalt that was freshly applied to the roadways and going home after work and taking care of the home. Once home, she would listen to her music and enjoy the rest of her day.

She is survived by her two sons, Credence Coats and wife Caress of Perry, OK and Stormy Day and wife Laura of Perry, OK; one sister, Shirley Ann Johnson; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
