Backup plans in place for Fall Sports Bash in case of rain

Team Radio Marketing Group - August 11, 2017 2:52 pm

With rain in the forecast, a plan is in place for the Fall Sports Bash, in case of inclement weather.

A decision to host the Bash at Sullins Stadium or indoors will be made at 3 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 12, with the event scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

With Robson Field House under construction, the Bash will be in the Old Boys gym, located in the High School, in case or rain.  If forced indoors, there will not be a football scrimmage that evening.

An announcement will be made to athletes through their coaches, and the community will be notified by social media outlets.

All participants and guests are asked to enter through the north doors located near the student parking lot.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding and we hope mother nature will cooperate so we can enjoy an evening together celebrating Po Hi students,” said Athletic Director Jared Freeman.
