Two rounds of severe weather are possible in north central Oklahoma through tonight, forecasters are reporting.

Round one has begun and is expected to last until about 6 p.m. Storms have already developed in Harper and Woodward Counties.  Round 2 will be between 7 p.m. and 4 am.  Storms during this time frame will be more intense.  All storms will move from northwest to southeast.

This afternoon’s storms could include hail to the size of golf balls and winds up to 65 mph.  After 7 p.m., we will see smaller hail, but winds reaching 75 mph.  In addition, heavy rains could lead to flash flooding in the area into the morning hours.
