CANCELLED: Amber Alert issued for Norman girl, 1 & 1/2

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been cancelled. The girl has been located in Converse, Texas alive and safe.

The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office in Norman issued an Amber Alert Friday for a 1-and-½-year-old girl who has been missing since 5 p.m. Friday.

The girl is Bracie Schivers. She is believed to be with two adults identified as her parents, Tara Springfield, 37, and Bryant Schivers Jr., 37. They were last seen in a 2011 white Chevrolet pickup with Oklahoma license plate BQQ-657. The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office stated that at 5pm on Friday a Judge in Cleveland County removed the parental rights from the suspects due to evidence of child endangerment. When Cleveland County Sheriff’s deputies went to take custody of the girl, she and the suspects had left their location and were unable to be located. Both suspects are known to be heavy substance abusers. Authorities believe that the girl is in immediate danger or risk of death.

Tara Springfield is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with hazel eyes.

Bryant Schivers Jr. is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with brown eyes.

If the vehicle and/or the suspect are seen, call 9-1-1.

UPDATE: The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office has additionally stated that three other children are presumed to be with these suspects. Bryant Schivers Jr., age 12; Bailey Schivers, age 9; Braddock Schivers, age 8.
