Two injured in accident

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to an accident at 2:35 a.m. Friday on Prentice Road at South Avenue, three miles east of Ponca City.
Austin David Burdick, 20, of Ponca City, was driving a 2008 Kawasaki. He was transported by Ponca City EMS to Alliance Health in Ponca City, where he was treated and released with a head injury.
Raegan Alexandria Meister, 19, of Tulsa, was a passenger on the vehicle. She was transported by Ponca City EMS to Alliance Health in Ponca City, then to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was admitted to the hospital.
