Ponca City Now - September 19, 2013 8:48 am

Cat on a hot tin roof is opening tomorrow night at the Ponca Playhouse.

Director of the play, Larry King said it’s about a family like Duck Dynasty just without the Lord.

“It’s not laugh out loud, minute by minute," King said."They’re some intense scenes, not by language by everyone has had one at home,a scene like they are going to see in this play.”

The play is a drama that was written in 1952 and turned into a movie in 1955.

Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 and a matinee on Sunday.

Don’t wait to get your tickets, the theaters only holds 108 people.
