Multiple earthquakes centered near Stroud on Friday

At least seven earthquakes have shaken north central Oklahoma by 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Six of  those have been centered near Stroud and one near Hennessey.

The six near Stroud were recorded between 8:47 a.m. and 10:04 a.m. The first was the strongest, with a magnitude of 4.2. The others were:

• 2.7 at 9:03 a.m.
• 3.5 at 9:04 a.m.
• 3.7 at 9:17 a.m.
• 2.7 at 9:55 a.m.
• 2.9 at 10:04 a.m.

The one near Hennessey was a magnitude 2.7 at 10:11 a.m.

A 2.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Fairview at 7:45 p.m. Thursday and is included on the map.

The U.S. Geological Survey says there have been no reports of injuries or damage.
