The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 2,724 new COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Saturday and Sunday, putting the state at 413,542 overall cases with 21,681 cases being active, which is 780 less than Friday.
OSDH documented 65 new virus-related deaths over the weekend, putting Oklahoma’s death toll to 4,024. This includes two each for Garfield and Osage counties and one each for Payne and Washington counties.
Kay County has seen 13 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, putting the county at 5,007 COVID-19 cases, 68 deaths and 4,700 recoveries. There are 239 active cases in the county, which is 14 less than Friday. Data for Kay County communities is posted below:

OSDH is reporting more recoveries over the weekend rather than new COVID-19 cases as there have been 3,439 new recoveries since Friday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 384,398. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
There have been 620,746 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 173,423 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 447,323. There have also been 430,750 prime doses allocated and 291,500 boost doses allocated.
