Osage County Sheriff’s Office investigating death of motorcyclist

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office reports that a caller reported a possible motorcycle accident at 10:29 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 99, south of Highway 11.

Upon arrival, officers located a man who died, apparently of a gunshot wound to the chest.

The sheriff’s office said the incident is under investigation at this time, but officers are not currently looking for suspects.

The name of the man is not being released pending notification of family.
