Some areas of northwestern Kay County might have felt some shaking early Wednesday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey Team reports that a 3.0 magnitude earthquake occurred at 3:59 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The epicenter was located about 5 miles north of Nardin and 11 miles northwest of Blackwell close to the 140th Street/Peckham Road intersection.
It’s the only earthquake that has occurred so far Wednesday morning.
