Winter Weather Advisory continues until Monday afternoon

Roadways continue to be slick and hazardous across northern Oklahoma on Monday morning as a Winter Weather Advisory goes until 4 p.m. this afternoon.

Counties included for northern Oklahoma are Grant, Kay, Garfield, Noble, Osage, Logan, Pawnee, Payne and Lincoln counties.

Freezing drizzle is likely until noon today.

There are slick spots on roadways, bridges and overpasses all across northern Oklahoma. Accidents have been reported on I-35 north of Guthrie.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol announced that the Commissioner of Public Safety, as authorized by the Governor, has announced that due to inclement weather state agencies may temporarily reduce non-essential services beginning at 6 a.m. on Monday  and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Monday for Payne, Noble, Pawnee, Kay and Osage Counties. State employees designated to maintain basic minimum services (staff essential functions) should remain at work or report to work as scheduled.
