OKLAHOMA CITY – Gerald Prindle, 39, has pleaded guilty to charges relating to child pornography and received a 15-year sentence to be served under the custody and control of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections following charges filed by Attorney General Mike Hunter in May.

Prindle, of Midwest City, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography and one count of violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. As part of his plea, he will serve seven years in prison and eight years on probation, all years to run concurrent.

Attorney General Hunter applauded the work of the attorneys and other law enforcement agencies that worked on the case and said his office is dedicated to prosecuting individuals who commit crimes.

“The continued collaboration by the attorney general’s office and other law enforcement entities is making Oklahoma communities safer,” Attorney General Hunter said. “My office has zero tolerance for child predators and those looking to harm innocent children. We will continue to work with our partner law enforcement agencies to protect the innocent.”
