I have the opportunity to speak to the summer interns working for Phillips 66 this week. I will talk about the quality of life we enjoy in Ponca City. It is amazing what our city has to offer with incredible events, unique attractions, great retail, fun dining and outdoor recreation. Plus being located between Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Wichita makes Ponca City a great place to live.
Outdoor recreation is a huge factor with young people. With 27 parks, our lake activities, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, disc golf courses, mountain bike trails, and our additional proposed walking and riding trails, Ponca City is a great choice.
Our Chamber Board and our Party at the Palace/Auction Committee will meet this week. Please consider donating an auction item for our event Friday, Aug. 18 at the Marland Mansion.
