The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 2,686 new positive COVID-19 cases for Thursday, putting Oklahoma at 363,046 COVID-19 cases overall. There are currently 32,771 active COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma, that number is 1,264 less than the number of active cases for Wednesday.
A total of 55 virus-related deaths were also document to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 3,140. Locally, there was one death for a Payne County woman in the 65 or older age group and one Washington County male in the 50-64 age group. It’s unknown as to when those deaths occurred.
Kay County saw an increase with 25 new COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 4,363 cases, 51 deaths and 3,887 recoveries. Data for Kay County communities is posted below:

As for new COVID-19 cases on Thursday in local counties, there are 75 for Payne, 39 for Garfield, 24 for Logan, 21 for Osage, 17 for Washington, nine for Pawnee, four for Grant and one for Noble . Data for local counties is posted below:

OSDH is also reporting 3,895 recoveries on Thursday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 327,135. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
The latest report shows there have been 197,820 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 28,409 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 169,411. There have also been 267,400 prime doses allocated and 42,900 boost doses allocated.
Health officials report that as of Thursday, there have been 2,653,602 total negative test results, 20,505 hospitalizations and 1,722 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. There are 449 patients in ICU.
