You are going to start smelling deep-fried food and seeing livestock trailers and rides because the fair is back in town.

The fair last’s through Sunday.

Jim Menzer, fair board director says he expects this year to be bigger and better than ever.

“There have been a lot of advancements to the fairgrounds, the horse arena, trying to make it a quality event for everybody, Menzer said.”

Menzer says there are new bands, new entertainment and new vendors from all around the state and country.

Some things to look forward to is the sugar glider attraction, a chainsaw wood carver and the chance to win a 1980 trans am.

This is the fairs 96th year and Menzer said they have had a good base to build on so all they can do is get better.
