The Ponca City Public School Board of Education is seeking community input to assist with the search for a new superintendent of schools.

The Board is asking community members what desired qualities, characteristics, background, experience, etc., they want in a new school leader. The feedback will be used to create a profile of the qualities and characteristics sought in a new superintendent.

The board is committed to finding a superintendent who shares this district’s values and vision while also bringing the expertise necessary to take the district to the next level. The position has been posted and applications are being accepted through June 11, 2017. The school board will then move through the process of selecting and interviewing candidates.

The responses are to be anonymous, confidential, and will only be seen by the five Ponca City School Board members.

Please mail or email your comments to the addresses below no later than June 15, 2017.
