Personal Injury Collision in Osage County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a personal injury collision occurred about 1:42 p.m. Sunday on US Highway 60 about 0.8 miles west of Okesa Road, located approximately 7.2 miles west of Bartlesville, OK in Osage County.

The patrol said the accident involved a Blue Chrysler 300 driven by Mary Lou Lee, 57, of Tuscan, AZ. Lee was transported by Bartlesville EMS to Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, OK where she was then transported to Saint Johns in Tulsa, OK where she was admitted in critical condition with trunk internal and head injuries.

A passenger, 3, of Bartlesville, OK was transported by Bartlesville EMS to Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, OK where he was treated and released.

A second passenger, 9, of Bartlesville, OK was transported by Bartlesville EMS to Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, OK where she was treated and released.

A third passenger, 8, of Bartlesville, OK was transported by Bartlesville EMS to Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, OK where she was treated and released.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated Lee’s vehicle was traveling westbound on United States Highway 60. The vehicle departed the roadway to the right and impacted a culvert. THe vehicle went airborne across a gravel driveway, was airborne for approximately 50 feet, and then rolled ½ a time, coming to rest on its top. Seatbelts were equipped and in use; the 3 year old was in a child restraint. The report lists the cause of the collision as a medical condition, indicating that Lee had a seizure.
