Dr. David Pennington to Resign as Superintendent of Schools

 

There will be a Board of Education agenda posted this afternoon that has Ponca City Public School Superintendent, Dr. David Pennington, resigning. He has accepted the position of Executive Director of the United Suburban Schools Association (USSA).

The board will hold a special meeting later this week to discuss procedures used for replacing the position. Dr. Pennington’s tentative last day will be August 30, 2017.
