Significant weather advisory issued

A significant weather advisory has been issued until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for Garfield, Kay, Grant and Noble Counties.

Hail up to one-half inch diameter and wind gusts of up to 40 mph are ossible.

At 10:01 a.m., strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Renfrow to 4 miles northwest of Lamont to 4 miles northwest of Garber to 3 miles west of Douglas. This line was moving northeast at 50 mph.

Minor flooding may occur in areas of poor drainage and there will be frequent cloud to ground lightning.

Residents in these areas are advised to monitor the weather closely and be alert for threatening conditions.
