Newkirk High School made the announcement on Tuesday that the upcoming game against Hennessey has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.
Earlier in the week, Newkirk Public Schools announced that a student tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend.
There are approximately 30 students and staff members contact traced and in quarantine as of Tuesday. All students and staff members that were affected have been contacted. (Click here)
