The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,813 new positive COVID-19 cases over the weekend. Oklahoma’s seen an overall total of 84,333 COVIID-19 cases as the latest information from Saturday shows 12,752 cases are active.
13 additional virus-related deaths were reported over the weekend for Oklahoma as the death toll is at 1,006.
Kay County has seen 15 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, putting the county’s stats to 585 cases, 13 deaths and 427 recoveries. As for the active cases in the county, there are 131 for Ponca City, nine for Blackwell, seven for Tonkawa, five for Newkirk and one for Kaw City.
As for new cases in local counties, there are 67 for Osage County, 34 for Payne County, 30 for Garfield County, 11 for Logan County, six for Washington County and one for Pawnee County.

As of Saturday, an overall total of 69,754 Oklaahomans have recovered from COVID-19. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Officials report that as of Friday, 1,058,144 test results have returned negative. There have been 6,192 total hospitalizations as 590 people are currently hospitalized.
