The deadline to fill out the 2020 U.S. Census is just days away on Sept. 30.

The Constitution mandates that the country counts its population once every 10 years. The 2020 Census will mark the 24th time that the country has counted its population since 1790.
For response rates as of Monday, Ponca City has had a 65.6%, Tonkawa has a 62.9%, Newkirk with a 61.5%, Blackwell at 59.2%, Kaw City at 40.7% and Braman at 33.7%.
Kay County currently has 63.2% response rate, keeping it on the list of the top ten counties in Oklahoma when responding to the census. Oklahoma’s overall response rate is 60.3%.
If you haven’t filled out the 2020 U.S. Census, you can do so online at 2020census.gov. The process takes less than 10 minutes.
