Beverly Bryant - April 4, 2017 4:39 pm

The City of Ponca City just received a call from Roadsafe which is a striping/traffic control contractor working for BNSF.

BNSF wants him to set up traffic control this evening to close the Prospect railroad crossing beginning at 5 p.m. today.

BNSF is bringing a road gang through to do maintenance work on the crossing. Roadsafe said they would be done sometime in the early morning hours (before daylight). A detour route will be set up to guide drivers around using Fifth Street, Hartford Avenue and Union Street.
