Frank was born on December 14, 1938 to Howard Lewis and Frances Harris. Frank was raised by step-parents Louise Bryant and “Blackie” Allen Bryant in the Indianapolis, IN area. Frank’s step-father “Blackie” was an Indy Car racer and Frank grew up around the race car garage and track. Frank eventually moved to Oklahoma where he met his sweetheart Nellie Mae Hand, and they were married on March 20, 1963 in Tulsa. Frank worked at Pioneer liquor and as a heavy equipment operator for Evans & Associates over the years. Frank was a loving father and husband for his family, working hard to provide for them. Even though he was known for being stubborn and hard headed, he loved nothing more than spending time with his family. When he wasn’t working, Frank loved being outside fishing, hunting or working on his tiny cabin. He never outgrew his childhood love of car racing and was a big NASCAR fan.
