Mother-Son event set for Saturday

The fifth annual Mother-Son event is set for Saturday, April 1, at the American Legion Main Hall, 407 West South Avenue.

There will be two sessions — 4:30 to 6 p.m., and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Moms and sons can attend either time for $10  per person. Ticket sales continue on Friday, March 31, from noon to 6 p.m. at the American Legion. Tickets are limited.

The theme of this year’s event is “Spend an Evening in the Country With Me.”

The event is hosted by the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 14.

Dress is casual.
