CORDELL, Okla. (AP) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a badly burned body has been found in a burned vehicle near Cordell.
OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Monday the death is considered suspicious and the body has been sent to the state medical examiner’s office for identification and to determine the cause and manner of death.
Brown says vehicle was discovered by a passer-by on Friday near the intersection of two county roads west of Cordell and that the Washita County Sheriff’s Office asked the OSBI to investigate.
Brown says there is no indication the death is related to another suspicious death that happened Friday in Cordell.
