Water crews installing major valve on leaking line

City Manager Craig Stephenson said this afternoon that the city’s Water Department is installing a 16-inch valve in a leaking 18-inch water line which connects the Meadows Ground Water Storage Tank and the North Water Tower.

This video from the City of Ponca City shows the water crew at work installing the valve so they can shut off the water to fix the leak.

Hopes are that the leak will be repaired later  this evening, with more work over the next couple of  days.
