Tuesday is Election Day!

Tuesday is the day for several local elections in Kay County, according to the Kay County Election Board. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for all of the following elections
In Ponca City, there is a municipal election for Commissioner Seat 3, currently held by MaryBeth Moore. The two candidates are Shasta Scott and Daniel L. Sherron.
Other ballots in Kay County include:
Shidler Schools Office No. 2. Candidates are Willy Hargraves and Nicholas L. Smith.
Blackwell will have a city mayor election between T.J. Greenfield, Dennis Coffey and Roy Dietrich.
Blackwell Schools also will have a ballot for office No. 2. Kathleen Brown and Barbara Ihrig are the two candidates.
Newkirk Schools will have a vote for Board of Education Office No. 2 between Bill Hobbs and Phillip Knight. There are also three propositions on the ballot for school bond issues for transportation and miscellaneous projects.
The Kildare School District will have an election for Office No. 2 between Michael S. Smith and Rebekah Wimer.
