A personal injury collision happened at 9:06 a.m. Sunday morning along State Highway 18, 8 miles north of Pawnee in Pawnee County.
A 34-year-old individual(name withheld) from Ponca City was driving a 2003 GMC Envoy southbound on State Highway 18. The vehicle departed the roadway left for unknown reason, traveled down the east ditch, rolling 2 full times coming to rest of the wheels. Driver was ejected an unknown distance, and later taken by AirEvac to St John’s in Tulsa. The individual was admitted in serious condition with head, arm, trunk internal, and trunk external injuries.
Cause of the collision is believed to be illegal drugs.
