An injury collision occurred at 8:58 a.m. Wednesday morning at State Highway 33 and Sangre Road, 4 miles west of Perkins in Payne County.
Bailey Miller, 21, of Stillwater was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on State Highway 33. Miller’s vehicle crossed the center line into the eastbound-travelling traffic and struck a 2016 Kenworth tractor trailer driven by Nicholas Stanhope, 31, of Midland City, AL. This caused a 2007 Kenworth tractor trailer driven by Justin Moorman, 37, of Guthrie to be impacted as well. Miller’s vehicle then departed the roadway to the right and rolled an undetermined amount of times.
Miller was transported by MediFlight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Admitted in critical condition with head, arm, and leg injuries. Stanhope and Moorman both refused treatment on scene.
Seatbelts were not in use by Miller, but Stanhope and Moorman were using them.
