Motorcyclist injured on Lake Road

Benny Ray Chaney, 56, of Kaw City, was injured at 4:28 p.m. Sunday on Lake Road, .3 miles east of Kygar Road, about three miles east of Ponca City, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

 

Chaney was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson which left the roadway to the right. The motorcycle came to rest on its side.

Chaney was transported by Ponca City EMS to Alliance Health Ponca City, then transferred by helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he was admitted in serious condition with a head injury.
