OSDH reports 91 positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday; 127 more individuals recover from the virus

The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed an additional 91 positive cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday as the state’s total is now at 5,489.

Locally, there is one new COVID-19 case in Osage County, making it their 92 case. Kay County remains at 50 cases overall. For other counties, no changes for Garfield, Grant, Logan, Noble, Payne and Pawnee counties.

While Kay County has seen 50 cases, three appear to be active. Osage County 11 active cases. Narrowing that down, there are four active cases in the Ponca City area.

The latest report shows that six more Oklahomans have died from COVID-19 as the death toll is now at 294.

  • Two females and a male in Oklahoma County all in the 65 or older age group.
  • A male in McIntosh County in the 65 or older age group.
  • Two females in Washington County both in the 65 or older age group.

OSDH reports that 127 more Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total of recoveries to 4,135.

As of Tuesday, 133,658 test results returned negative. A total of 897 individuals in Oklahoma have been hospitalized with 167 patients currently in hospitals.
