The 123rd Annual Chamber Banquet will be held Thursday. Clayton Johnson, United States Marshal and former Ponca City Police Chief will be our Master of Ceremony.
Pastor Mark Busch with the Brookfield Avenue Wesleyan Church will give the invocation.
We will have several award winners including the Larry Hughes Leadership Award, Business/Partner of the Year, Industry of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Gary Martin Outstanding City Employee and our Outstanding Citizen award.
We will hear from Molly Kyler, 2016 Chamber Chair and Adam Leaming, 2017 Chair.
RCB Bank will host a reception prior to the banquet from 4 to 6 p.m. at their downtown location for chamber banquet ticket holders. We just have a few tickets left. Phone the Chamber Office at 765-4400 to reserve your tickets.
This week we will offer a PRIDE Training on quality customer service for the Osage Casino. They have us do this every year and we appreciate that.
Our Chamber Board, Tourism Bureau and Ponca Politics Committee will all meet this week. I also have the opportunity to speak to the Lions Club on Wednesday. I’m looking forward to speaking to them.
