Perkins preparing pies for Thanksgiving

Perkins visited the Team Radio studios Tuesday morning with samplings of all their pies and baked goods for the 2016 Thanksgiving holiday!

Whether it’s pumpkin, apple and pecan — all favorites around the holiday — or the two new pies, Chocolate Pretzel Caramel Silk or Fudge Brownie Silk, there’s something for everyone. Pies can be ordered ahead of time or purchased at the restaurant.

Perkins also is offering a winter savings book which which is available now. For a $1 donation, customers receive more than $35 in savings on an assortment of Perkins products from Jan. 1 to March 31, 2017. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Give Kids the World, a 79-acre nonprofit storybook resort that Perkins has supported for more than 25 years. It is a place where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, free vacations.

Perkins also will work with fundraising opportunities for charitable organizations interested in raising money by selling Perkins’ pies. Schools, teams, sports groups or any non-profit organization should contact the local Perkins at (580) 762-0027 for more information.
