BLACKWELL – A Blackwell woman is facing charges of domestic assault and battery with a deadly weapon, child endangerment, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Tara Dawn Smith, 48, reportedly pointed a gun at children in the 1000 block of north 8th street in Blackwell. Affidavits report that Smith admitted to the altercation at her residence. Smith then mentioned that she had been out drinking and returned home to find her house to be in disarray. This included finding food scattered around the living room.
