Kyle Laverne Owens
(August 14, 1985 – June 3, 2016)
Kyle Owens of Braman, Oklahoma passed away on June 3, 2016 at his home at the age of 30 years.
Kyle Laverne Owens was born on August 14, 1985 in Hays, Kansas to Kelly Laverne and Donna Eileen (Wilson) Owens.
He graduated from Langdon High School, and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Kyle enjoyed playing video games, watching WWE Wrestling, Supernatural, and the Minions. More than anything, Kyle loved his family. Pitbull’s and Ford Mustangs were among his passions. He was very soft spoken, and he had such a kind heart.
He is survived by his mother Donna Robinson of Shelton, Washington; his father Kelly Owens and wife Teresa Owens of WaKeeney, Kansas; maternal grandmother Fleta Heinrich of Braman, Oklahoma; Siblings Rebecca Robinson, and Derek Robinson of Shelton, Washington; and Cherell Owens and Emmit Owens of WaKeeney, Kansas.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Mel Heinrich; and Paternal Grandmother Mary Owens; as well as a brother, Travis Gilliland.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with James W. Roberts officiating.
Honorary casketbearers will be Jeremiah Logan, Derek Robinson, Emmit Owens, Josh Ghum, Aaron Thomas, and TJ Thomas.
