Juanita Correll

(September 6, 1932 – May 12, 2016)

Juanita I. Correll, of Ponca City Oklahoma, passed away on May 12, 2016. She was 83 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel in Ponca City. Juanita’s son, Steven F. Correll, will deliver the eulogy. Following the funeral service, a private burial will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City. Juanita will be available for viewing on Thursday, May 19, 2016 and Friday, May 20, 2016 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City.

Juanita was born in Burbank, Oklahoma on September 6, 1932. She graduated from Burbank High School in 1951. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles, where she married Billie F. Correll, of Ponca City, on September 23, 1951. Juanita and Bill were married for 48 years at the time of Bill’s death in 1999. After Bill’s death, Juanita moved to Enid, Oklahoma to be closer to her sister, Ruth Brown.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Terrie L. Correll and her son Steven F. Correll, along with their respective spouses, Dennis Hebert and James R. Shay. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Correll, her parents, Thomas and Ruby Bothwell, and her seven siblings.

The family extends special thanks to the staff of St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, for their professional and loving care.
