Rickie Joe Thele Jr. resident of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas. At the age of 45. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Ponca Indian United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim White. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Blackwell.

Rickie was born December 23, 1970 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Rickie and Vicky (Baughman) Thele. Rickie was a family man. He loved playing with his kids, grandson, and many nieces and nephews. Rickie enjoyed fishing and traveling. He was a member of the Ponca Indian United Methodist Church.

Rickie is survived by his wife, Lee Dawn Pickett; children, David McLain and his wife Adelina, Caleb McLain, Keziah McLain; and grandson, Eli McLain. Mother, Vicky and husband Wally Tattershall; sister, Dawn Thele Jacob and husband Trey; Several nieces and nephews.
