Donna K. Swope of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016.

She was born on November 7, 1941 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Dorothy Smith. Donna was married 56 years to her loving husband, Frank Swope and had three children. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family, bowling, and having garage sales.

In her early years, she enjoyed working as a cosmetologist and was later employed at the Kay County Treasures Office. In her later years, Donna was the primary caregiver for her parents. She also loved serving her community by participating in local campaigns.

Donna is survived by her husband, Frank Swope, three children, daughter, Kendra and husband Craig Warn of Edmond, Oklahoma, two sons, Russell and wife Rhonda Swope of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and, Robert and wife Leslee Swope of Ponca City, Oklahoma, also ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Chaplin Tom Howard officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
