Phyllis was born on September 9, 1930 in Ponca City. She was raised by her parents Grace E. and Merle Peters.God decided to have Phyllis go to heaven to give everyone a hard time, he said there needed to be a little spice in Heaven. she was known for her funny since of humor, cussing, saying, "I’m gonna beat your ass…" having hot tea, sitting up at night watching The Golden Girls and Designing Women, eating grapes, being a snuggle bunny, and having an undying and unquestioning love for her family and her dog, Honeybell. She was so talented and she is the true reason that any of us have any type of talent or brains at all. She would crack you up with her quick wit and her funny laugh, her love of fishing with her favorite buddy, Tony, and cracking up at having her big butt pushed up the bank. Quilting, painting, and crocheting was a love she wanted to share with everyone that come through her door, and that she was very proud of them. This woman I’m describing was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great-great-grandmother and a friend. We all have been divinely favored by God to have this beautiful woman in our lives even up to her last breath. This woman I speak of was our gg, our heart and soul, and the love of our lives.
