Scott Wiehle

(October 26, 2015 – December 17, 2015)

Scott Wiehle, lifelong resident of the Big Bend and Ponca City area, passed away on December 17, 2015. He was surrounded by his six children and comforted by his loving wife.

Scott was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, October 26, 1953, to A.P. and Jo Wiehle. He graduated from Pryor High School in 1971 and the University of Oklahoma in 1975, with a B.A. in Psychology. Scott was a lifelong farmer and rancher in Osage County. He had a passion for the land and providing for his family. Scott felt blessed to be the steward of a farm that he cherished since childhood, and he particularly enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets across the wheat field. He loved music, always had a song in his head and made sure all of his six children were educated in the three stooges, the beatles, Seinfeld and most importantly a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents A.P. and Jo Wiehle and younger brother David Wiehle. He is survived by his wife Karen of the home; son Allan of Kissimmee, Florida; daughter Karalyn and husband Bart Fischer, and their two children Luke and Liam of Arlington, VA; daughter Lauren and husband Ryan Rich of Muskogee; son David Eyster of Houston, TX; son Brian Eyster of Fairfax, VA; and son Caleb Wiehle Eyster of the home; brother Steven Wiehle and wife Cindi of Odessa, TX; nephew Scott Ryan Wiehle and wife Krista of Fort Worth, TX; niece Elizabeth Wang and husband Eric of Houston, TX; niece Jordan Wiehle of Paris, France; sister-in-law Laura Rose and husband Mike of Seminole, OK; nephew Michael Rose of OK; nephew Matt Rose and wife Julie of Tulsa, OK and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Scott was a member of St. Luke’s Church of the Nazarene in Ponca City. Memorial services will be held at St. Luke’s at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s at 1715 E. Prospect Avenue, Ponca City, OK 74601.
