Roy Robert Carver, II

Carver, II, Roy Robert, "Bob", age 80, formerly of Ponca City, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2105 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Grace Episcopal Church, 109 N. 13th St., Ponca City with Reverend Dr. Dee Wellington Bright Officiating. He will be laid to rest with U.S. Air Force Military Honors at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City. following the ceremony. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mr. Carver was born on August 16, 1935 in Ponca City to Marjorie Hoeffer Carver and Kay County Judge Roy Carver. An illustrious international business career, spanning over 60 years, enabled him and his family to live and work from far off destinations, such as the Middle East, Africa and Europe. His children are flying their father back to his birthplace to be placed next to his Mother, Father, and grandparents at the family burial plot.

Survivors include his children: Monica H. Carver of Norman, OK, Roberta D. Carver-Carson and husband Denis Carson of Norman, OK, Ruby R. Carver of Las Vegas, NV, Roy Robert Carver, III of India, Marina T. Carver of Bakersfield, CA, Delilah Carver Ahadi and husband Khosshal Ahadi of Bakersfield, CA, Reid R. Carver of Dubai, UAE, sister Patricia Scotland of Corpus Christi, TX, grand children: Kyle Robert Carver of Las Vegas, NV, Desiree A. Carver-Thomas of Oakland, CA, Sean Patrick Carson of Norman, OK, Roya Roberta Carver of Norman, OK, Ava Rose Ahadi of Bakersfield, CA, and Coa (Ayla) Lily Ahadi or Bakersfield, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
