Deborah Lynn Toon
(May 2, 1957 – August 20, 2015)
Debbie came into this world in a hurry being born in the hospital elevator to Sally and Conard Villines on May 2, 1957. She was the second of six children and had two brothers, David (and wife Jamie) and Scott (and wife Marine) Villines and three sisters, Connie Bahm, Annie (and husband Jerry) Wheeler, and Bonnie Wetzel. Debbie graduated from PoHi in 1975. Debbie passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at her home.
She had two children, Jeremy (and wife Phylisha) and Sally (and Pat) Smith and two step-chidren, Michele and Jeremy Toon. Debbie graduated from the Enid Beauty College in 1987 with her best friend, Cindy Wright. She worked at Reflections in Ponca City for some time. In her early 30’s, she was diagnosed with Cervical Torsion Dystonia and eventually was totally disabled. Debbie suffered with severe pain the remander of her life. Even through her pain, Debbie kept her sense of humor and was a wonderful aunt to Travis, Kaityana, and Denver Villines, Zachary Mansfield, Evan and Connor Wetzel, Benson Quinn, Mitchell and Mackayla Villines, Kenny, Keagan, and Quinn Wheeler, Karson and Kalin Bellmard, Jesse, Sarah and Elijah Bahm, Matt Bahm, Kelli and Erik White, Brandy and Baylee Bahm, Marcus Bahm-Thomas, Bobbie Ropp, Tori, Ryan, Jo Jo and Zoey Field, Heather and Charlotte Villines. She was the grandmother to Delaney and Michael Hitt, Caty Smith, Bella Cordis, Sally G Kimbrel, Madison Kimbrel, and Emma Kimbrel. Her grandchildren, nieces and nephews were her life. She also became a great-grandmother this year to Kaisen Hitt. Debbie enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and making her famous butterscotch pecan pies.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, grandmother, Bonneta Stolhand, and grandfather, Alfred Wayne Benson.
She was a member of the Ranch Drive Baptist Church and will be greatly missed. The family will be at 7600 W. North Ave. in Ponca City.
Debbie will be available for viewing on Wednesday and Thursday until 8:00 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, August 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Ranch Drive Baptist Church with Reverend Bob Ryan officiating. Burial at Resthaven Memorial Park will follow the service.
