Obituary for Paulette Allensworth

Paulette “Polly” Allensworth, of Ponca City, died in Wichita, Kan., on Sunday, July 19, 2015. She was 69.

Paulette Schieler was born the daughter of Edward and Pearline Schieler in Tulare, Calif. She married Jerry Allensworth on Aug. 24, 1963, in Coalinga, Calif. The family moved to Ponca City in 1973.

Her hobbies were gardening, yard work, dancing, playing bingo, going to the casino and talking to her family and friends every day.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Allensworth; siblings, Freda Scrivner, of Fresno, Calif.; Noma Wilson, of Coalinga, Calif.; Joetta Hughes, of Paso Robles, Calif.; Shirley Aschenbrenner, of Madera, Calif.; Jerry Schieler, of Coalinga, Calif.; Diana Mooney, of Fresno, Calif.; children, Sherri Allensworth; Rick Allensworth and wife Allison; Judy Estlack and husband Ken; grandchildren, Amber Howard and husband Jason; Jacob Lewis, Chad Allensworth, Shelby Estlack, Emily Allensworth, Chase Allensworth, Coby Allensworth; great-grandchildren, Ethan Howard and Lacey Howard; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Pearline Schieler; daughter, Jody Allensworth; sisters, Rita Schieler, Neda Wilson and Gloria Jean Schieler; and brother, Eddie Schieler. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 23, at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church in Ponca City. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be, Ben Raulston, Jesse Pershall, Chad Allensworth, Jacob Lewis, Ethan Howard, Chase Allensworth and Coby Allensworth.

Family will be at Trout Funeral home, Wednesday, July 22, from 6-8 p.m.
